About

The Voice of Prince Edward County Project was generously funded by the Jessie Ball DuPont Fund from July 2020-October 2021.

Principal Investigators included Dr. Caroline Emmons, Elliott Professor of History at Hampden-Sydney College; Sarah E. Almond, Archival & Digital Projects Librarian at Hampden-Sydney College; and the students of HIST285, S21, "Building a Community Archive: The Voice of Prince Edward and the Moton Story.”

This project would not have been possible without the gracious partnership of the Moton Museum staff, including Leah Brown, Cameron Patterson, and Cainan Townsend.
